Liverpool have a superior head to head record in the last 2-3 years against Everton, infect Everton have not beaten their local rivals in the last 5 matches in the league or FA Cup. If we look at the past 5 meetings we can see that Liverpool have won 3 and drawn 2, and going into this weeks derby they are favourites specially after the demolition of Newcastle United last week 6-0. Everton are coming into this match on the back of a 1-0 win over Fulham and if they can win rest of their last 3 matches they might stand a chance to finish in the top 4.

LIVERPOOL EXPECTED TEAM LINEUP:

Pepe Reina, Glenn Johnson, Jaimi Carragher,Daniel Agger, Jose Enrique, Steven Gerrard, Lucas Lieva, Jordan Henderson, Stuart Downing, Danial Sturridge, Coutinho

EVERTON EXPECTED TEAM LINEUP:

Liverpool beat Newcastle last week by 6-0, and without Luis Suarez Danial Sturridge is looking like a real deal for Liverpool. he scored a couple of goals and assisted 1 goal as well while Jordan Henderson is finishing the season with a bang and he was pick of the player for Liverpool last week, Brendan Rodgers will be hoping to grab as many points from now to the end of the season as his team can and start the next season on a high. New signing Coutinho is settling in really well with Liverpool and he will be keep to impress against after his great showing last week.

Everton on the other hand are kind of a team who finishes the season really strongly, and since they have not beaten Liverpool for a while they will be eager to go out there and put together a good performance. Premier League match between the two sides earlier in the season finished 2-2 at Goddison Park
